EGIS directorate visited four company’s projects in Lviv

The delegation of representatives of the company’s Head Office on 8 October, the next day after celebrating in Kyiv the 20-year anniversary of Egis in Ukraine,went to the Western region of Ukraine, the city of Lviv,for a working visit

The delegation of representatives of the company’s Head Office led by General Director-President of EGIS Nicolas JACHIET and Egis Eau, Egis Waste Management and Egis Conseil on 8 October, the next day after celebrating in Kyiv the 20-year anniversary of Egis in Ukraine,went to the Western region of Ukraine, the city of Lviv, for a working visit

Lviv Oblast is taking now an important place in Egis development program in Ukraine. There are four project offices of Egis in the city with more than 25 employers and experts, who provide services to the projects for a total cost of 181 M USD.

Besides, the city intends to implement further infrastructure projects: construction of a biogas unit for sludge digestion at the wastewater treatment plant of Lvivvodokanal, implementation of e-ticketing and construction of waste recycling plant.

An official meeting with the city authorities with the participation of the Deputy Mayor Viktor Pushkarov and the Director of Investment Department Olha Syvak took place in the City Council. The representatives of Egis expressed their interest in future cooperation with the City in infrastructure development, and presented their own view of solving main city infrastructure problems.

After cabinet meeting the delegation visited main project working sites.

One of the projects is a pilot output and performance-based contract in Ukraine that refers to M06 Kyiv – Chop road maintenance. Three other infrastructure projects - modernization of district heating, construction of tram line and complex rehabilitation of city depot are at completion stage.
