Egis signs a new contract in Ukraine and starts assisting the City of Lutsk

For two years, Egis will provide corporate assistance to the Municipal Company Lutskteplo for its investment in rehabilitation of District Heating installations

The Company Lutskteplo supplies hot water and district heating to 170 000 inhabitants and received a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance the priority investment plan (PIP) of the Company. It covers the installation of 9 full and 202 simple individual heating stations (IHS), replacing 35 outdated boilers, modernizing boiler houses and district heating networks, installing one biomass (wood chips) boiler and SCADA system. PIP shall be implemented during 2015-2018 and is aimed at reducing energy losses by 84.6 thousand Gcal/year or 13.2% of total energy that is now consumed in Lutsk.

Together with its partner the Municipal Development Institute, Egis has been entrusted with a corporate assistance to Lutskteplo, in order to ensure the successful implementation of the investment plan and the sustainable performance of the Company.
