On March 18, 2019, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine hosted a meeting of the Working group concerning the carrying out of the effectiveness analysis of state enterprise “Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi seaport”

The meeting was chaired by Oleksandr Basiuk, Director of the Department for Marine and River Transport Reform.

     In order to implement the National Transport Strategy of Ukraine for the period up to 2030 and increase the efficiency of the operation of the ports of Ukraine, it was approved to create a working group on the analysis of the efficiency of the state enterprise “Sea Commercial Port of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi”.

     On March 18, a meeting of working group and representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Reform Support Teams, SE "Administration of Seaports of Ukraine", SE “Sea Commercial Port of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi”, consultants of the Technical Assistance Office of the Infrastructure Sector of the US Department of the Treasury and experts of Egis (Albert Bergonzo and André Merrien) was held.

     Egis experts presented to the participants of the working group preliminary technical and economic feasibility study of "Sea Commercial Port of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi" development project, noted that the indicators of the cargo traffic of the port are decreasing, analyzed the state of financial and economic activity of the enterprise, indicating data on accounts receivable and payables. The members of the working group discussed the presented draft document, as well as voiced their comments.

     According to the results of the meeting, the participants agreed that at the next meeting, our experts in the pre-feasibility study of the SE "Sea Commercial Port of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi" will present the reasoned ways turn around the enterprise from a crisis state.
