On October 21-22, Egis held two kick-off meetings within the project. The meetings were dedicated to the general introduction of all main stakeholders, discussion about real challenges during previous phases of the program, identifying the priority first steps, which should be taken by the Egis team during the inception period.
Together with Egis, EIB (European Investment Bank), PMSU - Programme Management and Support Unit and COWI consultants to PMSU participated in the first meeting. The second one was focused on the current status of the sub-projects and the familiarization with the 6 Final Beneficiaries – municipal companies from all parts of Ukraine.UMIP (Ukraine Municipal Infrastructure Programme) - is a multi-sector investment Programme (400 M EUR) that aims to support municipal infrastructure in 5 sectors (district heating, energy efficiency in public buildings, municipal lighting, water supply, and solid waste management.
Egis will support Lutsk, Rivne, Kryvyi Rih, Lozova, and Mariupol municipal companies in procurement, contract management, and institutional strengthening during the next 6 years.
