Arnaud de Rugy, Director Eastern Europe, and Central Asia (Egis) visited Lviv to evaluate the work on the reconstruction of the tram depot.
"Reconstruction of a dispensary with a boiler room, household and administrative premises tram depot No. 2 LKP "Lvovelektrotrans" on Promyshlennaya street, 29 in Lviv " is carrying out under a contract for the amount 3.4 million euros. Financing is 100% EBRD loan funds. The project is being implemented by the VIR-Zakhidbud Company, Egis provides consultations within the framework of the project including environmental impact assessment.
The history of the reconstruction of tram depot No. 2 began with the installation of a new heating system. However, in the course of the study, many related factors were identified, such as the need to replace windows, roofs, facades, etc. The new project provides for the redevelopment of all administrative and industrial premises.
Reconstruction work began on 10 August. The terms of execution of work at this facility are 365 days (1 year).
