Egis Ukraina has started working on climate change adaptation in Ukraine

In September took place two meetings within the EU-funded project  “Strengthening the capacity of regional and local administrations for implementation and enforcement of EU environmental and climate change legislation and development of infrastructure projects”. 

The meeting was held by:

  • members of the Consortium of ENVIROPLAN S.A. (GR), Egis International (FR), Egis Structures & Environment (FR) and Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES) (GR);
  • the EUD to Ukraine;
  • the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine;
  • the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.

The international technical assistance project has been launched on the 15th of July. The overall objective of the project is to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and the EU by addressing the priorities of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU on strengthening regulatory convergence in the areas of environmental assessment and waste management and climate change.
