The project of modernization of public transport in Kharkiv was approved by Egis

     In September, Egis completed an expert assessment of due diligence for Kharkiv, on the basis of which the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Trolleybus Depot No 2 signed a loan agreement worth 10 million euros to renew the rolling stock of the company.

     Egis consultants conducted a second due diligence expertise in public transport sector in Ukraine, this time in Kharkiv. According to Egis, ME "Trolleybus Depot No.2" intends to use the investment in such a way that in the long term it will significantly improve the conditions of transportation of passengers and strengthen the financial capacity of the municipal transport company as a whole.

In the final result of the project, the Kharkiv residents will receive:

  • 50 new trolleybuses;
  • uninterrupted traffic due to renewed electric grids;
  • modern depot with new repair and diagnostic equipment

Such projects, implemented in close cooperation between Ukrainian and European specialists, form the basis of local expertise of Egis in the field of urban public transport in Ukraine.
