UIP-2/Second Urban Infrastructure Development Project

     Ukraine has received $ 300 million from the World Bank and $ 50 million from the Clean Technologies Fund for the implementation of the project "Urban Infrastructure Development-2". The project "Development of Urban Infrastructure-2" is being implemented by the Central Project Management Group (CPМG) of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

Project overview

     The overall objective of the project is to reduce energy consumption, improve the efficiency and reliability of the overall system operation, as well as improve the quality of water and wastewater services provided by the Utility Company «Ternopilvodokanal», due to significant modernization of the objects of the water supply and sewerage facilities of the city of Ternopil using modern technologies.


Our missions

Egis team in this project will perform pre-contract services and construction supervision on the following components:

  • Reconstruction of wastewater treatment plant, including construction of sludge dewatering facility;
  • Construction of iron removal plant at III-rd lift pump station site in the city of Ternopil;
  • Modernization of "Ternopilsky" and "V. Ivachivsky" water intakes and III-rd lift water pump station № 4 and reconstruction of iron removal plant at Ternopilsky water intake.
  • Modernization of wastewater pump stations №№ 7, 9;
